  1. LEAGUE FEES: Visiting Teams on Council greens will have any greenage fees due paid by the HOME TEAM
  2. AGE: ALL PLAYERS 60 years and over.  ANY player reaching the age of 60 by the 30th September of any current season shall be eligible to play in said season
  3. NO PLAYER may play for more than one team in any one season.
  4. ANY TEAM violating these rules shall forfeit FOUR league points.
  5. ALL PLAYERS to be FULLY paid up members of their club. Clubs to inform league of any member NOT having paid club fees due and said player to be barred from ALL bowling activities until all fees due and any arrears have been FULLY paid.
  6. TEAMS to consist of 8 (eight) players.  Captains to nominate two doubles pairs and four singles players.  The names to be placed FACE DOWN for pairing with opposing team.
  7. THE MATCH: Four singles and two doubles (It has been found advisable to play two doubles and one singles first).
  8. If a team does not have eight players then they have to forfeit the games they cannot play.  Doubles games to play first.  A team with seven players forfeits a singles match.  A team with six players forfeits two singles matches and so on.
  9. PRACTICE: Home team 1.30pm and Away team 1.45pm.
  10. PLAY:  THURSDAY AFTERNOONS 2pm start where possible.  League and Cup matches start time all 2pm.
  11. SCORING:  One point for each game won.
  12. SCORE SHEETS:  All score sheets MUST be FULLY completed with all names etc..  It is the responsibility of the HOME captain to make sure this is done and contersigned by the VISITING captain.  Any incomplete score sheets WILL result in 1 point being deducted from the HOME team score.
  13. PROPOSALS and APPLICATIONS for AGM to be put in writing to the League Secretary by the 31st October each year'
  14. REARRANGED FIXTURES:  If a fixture is unable to be fulfilled on the set day teams may:-

           a) If knocked out of the Cup, rearrange the fixture on a date when the next round of the Cup is played (up to and including the date of the quarter-finals, or:-

           b)  rearrange the fixture within 4 weeks of the cancellation (provided the cancellation is before week 15).

           c)  Any game cancelled after week 15 must be rearranged before week 18 (the last league match of the season).

           NB:  Any rearranged fixture must be agreed with the Match Secretary.

           (if the match calendar changes then this rule may have to change).

      15.  ALL matches to be played under BCGBA rules.

      16.  Divisional winners of Divisions 2,3,4 MUST accept promotion and teams finishing with the LEAST number of points in Divisions 1,2,3 will be relegated by one                        division.

      17.  After final results and with regards to promotion/relegation.  Teams who have equal points and wins, a play off will take place on a neutral green and be organised                by the match secretary and committee.
