Malpas Senior Citizens League – Information on Competitions.

Team Doubles.

There is a team doubles competition for every Division and they all operate on the same basis. They are:

Division 1 – Cliff & Mary

Division 2 – Jim & Ivy

Division 3 – Jeff Carter

N.B. in the 2023 season there will be no Jeff Carter competition as there is no division 3.

Every team in the League is eligible to play in their respective competition and captains should notify the Competitions Secretary whether they wish to do so or not by the date announced each season.

The draw for matches will normally take place in March/April every year.

There are up to 4 rounds in each competition – Preliminary, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals, Final.
Matches are generally played on a neutral green on a Thursday afternoon commencing at 1:00pm.

All players in a team must be registered to play in this league for their designated club.

Once a player has played for one team they may not play for a different team in any one year.
