MARCH 2026 MANAGEMENT MEETING
Please note that the Frodsham League March meeting will have to change to Monday 30th March, same time 8pm at Helsby Sports Club.
BEREAVEMENT NOTICE
It is with great sadness that we announce that a long standing bowling member, Roy Southerton has passed away on Sunday 22nd February. Roy was a former member of many clubs including Manley and Overton for many years. Condolences to all his family, especially his wife Joan and son Gary. Funeral Service is on Tuesday 17th March 2pm at Walton only.
LAWS OF CROWN GREEN BOWLS
There is a new page on this site called "BCGBA LAWS OF THE GAME" and I would encourage all players to read these as I have come across many people who do not know some of these rules and in fact make up their own rules. It is also printable so you can keep it handy for any disputes.

NO Food or any drinks whatsoever are to be consumed at the pub unless purchased in the Pub.
PLAYER REGISTRATION NUMBERS
Please can all secretaries check that every player has a registration number for BCGBA (Usually Starts CH or LAD) and Cheshire (Starts CC) and that the numbers are input for your teams.
STRICT DRESS CODE APPLIES IN THE FOLLOWING COMPS
League Merit & Pairs Final days, Team Comp Finals.
(Black, Dark Grey or Navy Trousers, Polo Top or Other Collared Shirt; No shorts unless 21 degrees celsius or more)
