Bereavement Notice (Note change of venue after the service)
The funeral service for Lynne Light will be held Walton Lea Crematorium WA46TB starting at 12.40 on Tuesday 26th May followed by refreshments and a celebration of Lynne's life at the Red Lion in Moore WA4 6UD. Lynne played for over 40 years in the Runcorn & Frodsham Leagues most recently at Rock Park and was well known to many bowlers. Lynne will be sadly missed . Lynne's family have requested that any donations will be forwarded to the stroke foundation.
ABEL CUP
The final of the Abel Cup will take place at the Norton Arms on Thursday 21st May. Start time is 19.00hrs with a scratch time of 18.45 for the players. A dress code as per the County Regulations will be in place for the players. Spectators are more than welcome to come and support the players in what should be a competitive night of bowls.

The finals night of the Abel cup takes place at the Norton with a 19.00hrs start. All supporters are welcome. Details will be sent to players via the club secretaries.
Latest information:
Fri 15th May
Entry forms for the second division merit will be sent to club secretaries next weekend. The competition qualifiers will be held on Thursday 4th June and the following Thursday 11th June. Finals night will be a combined finals night with the third division as per last year on Thursday 23rd July. Last year we had fifteen entries but will be looking to increase that this year. The competition is open to all second division players. All players will start level with no handicaps.
